Porsche Panamera Sound Upgrade Program
This is a sound upgrade program exclusively designed for the Porsche Panamera.
We provide separate plans for the first-generation 970 model and the later 971 model, as the head unit changed from 2DIN to PCM with the model update.
While nearly anything is possible with enough budget and time, we have selected realistic and effective options based on vehicle-specific characteristics—such as the factory head unit format and speaker layout—to make your selection process easier.
We also welcome customization based on these plans, so please feel free to consult with us.

For Porsche vehicles equipped with OEM head units compatible with the DIN standard, the official PCCM and PCCM Plus service offers LCD-equipped head unit replacements through authorized Porsche Centers.
We also offer upgrade plans that combine PCCM head unit replacement with full speaker system refreshes—please feel free to reach out for details!

Single A standalone plan that can be selected individually. You may also combine it with additional options.
SET A set plan combining multiple single plans. Additional options can also be added to the set.
Add-on Optional plan elements. Please combine with a Single or SET plan when ordering.

Main Installation Process Photos
[2DIN Navigation Installation] The factory unit is an OEM 2DIN size, so aftermarket 2DIN systems fit smoothly.
By inputting the built-in 4ch output from the navigation system into the factory separate amplifier, you can drive all speakers just like the original setup.
Alternatively, it’s possible to drive only the front speakers directly with the built-in amp depending on your request.
[Speaker Replacement & Sound Deadening] To ensure full-range sound reproduction, speakers are securely mounted with custom baffles and the door is transformed into a speaker enclosure through deadening.
[Squawker Installation] As with the door woofer, the midrange squawker is installed in the factory location behind the door trim.
[Tweeter Installation] The separate tweeters are also installed in the factory dashboard position.

Main Installation Steps
[Speaker Replacement & Sound Deadening] To ensure full frequency reproduction, speakers are securely installed using custom baffles, and the doors are soundproofed to function like proper speaker enclosures.
[Tweeter Installation] Just like the door woofers, separate tweeters are also installed in the factory locations.
[Squawker Installation] The midrange squawker is also installed in its factory location behind the door trim, just like the woofers.
[DSP Installation] The compact PLUG&PLAY unit listed in the estimate can be installed inside the cabin, but this photo shows a larger Helix unit mounted in the trunk. With this setup, both the front 3-way system and subwoofer can be centrally managed to precisely focus sound toward the driver’s ears.
